Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious fire that occurred at Hogans Road, Hoppers Crossing tobacconists about 4am.
Emergency services were called after reports the store was on fire.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze.
An arson chemist will attend later today to determine the cause. At this stage, the fire is being treated as suspicious.
