RESERVOIR, VIC. — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an overnight assault in Reservoir overnight.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man with serious injuries inside a property on Spring Street about 12.30am.
It is understood he was involved in an altercation with two male occupants of the house.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The occupants of the house, a 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, were both arrested at the scene.
They were taken into custody to be interviewed later today.
Investigations are ongoing, and police are investigating whether the man is known to them.
