Detectives from the Arson and Explosives Squad are investigating a suspicious fire at a cosmetic skin care shop in South Yarra last night.
Emergency services responded to reports of a man setting a fire at a shop near the intersection of Toorak Road and Caroline Street about 11.15pm on Thursday, July 10..
No one was inside the shop at the time of the fire.
Despite a thorough search of the area, the offender was not located.
A crime scene has been established, and an arson chemist is attending the scene this morning.
Police believe the incident was targeted and will investigate any potential links to other incidents.
The investigation remains ongoing.
