TARNEIT, VIC. — Police arrested teens following an aggravated burglary in Tarneit yesterday morning.

TARNEIT, VIC. — Police arrested teens following an aggravated burglary in Tarneit yesterday morning.

Officers responded to reports of three suspicious males on Tenterfield Place about 7.20am.

The trio allegedly entered a backyard property where one of the offenders entered a residence through a bathroom window.

The female occupant of the house confronted the trio, and they fled on foot.

She was not physically injured.

Police attended, arresting a 17-year-old boy from the Wyndham area and a 19-year-old Tarneit man near the intersection of Sunset Views Boulevard and Equinox Close.

Paramedics treated the 17-year-old after he was tased during the arrest.

A third male, a 15-year-old boy from the Hobsons Bay area, was tracked in a rideshare vehicle to Fifth Avenue in Altona North, where he was swiftly arrested.

The trio are expected to be interviewed.

At this stage, police do not know what was stolen from the Tenterfield Place residence.

A school on Fairview Parade in Tarneit temporarily placed itself into lockdown as a precaution.

An investigation is ongoing.
