FRANKSTON, VIC. — Frankston Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives have charged a man after electronic tracking devices were allegedly placed on cars in Frankston.
It is alleged the devices were located on several vehicles in the Frankston area between June and October this year.
As part of the investigation, police yesterday arrested a 65-year-old Frankston man.
Detectives subsequently executed a search warrant at an address on Tantani Street.
The Frankston man has been charged with four counts of stalking, being a prohibited person possessing a firearm and being a prohibited person possessing a weapon.
He will appear before the Melbourne Bail and Remand Court today.
