Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fatal fire which occurred in Kinglake West last night, 26 April.
Investigators have been told a shed caught fire on Watsons Road about 8.25pm.
Kinglake West CFA volunteers found a 26-year-old Kinglake West man in the shed who had sustained fatal injuries. He died at the scene.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. The investigation remains ongoing.
