MILDURA, VIC. — Mildura Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives have charged a man following a collision in Mildura on Thursday evening.
A 57-year-old NSW man has been charged with multiple offences including:
- dangerous driving causing serious injury;
- four counts of reckless conduct endangering life;
- drive in a manner dangerous/speed dangerous; and
- intentionally cause injury.
He appeared before Mildura Magistrates’ Court yesterday afternoon.
The charges follow an alleged incident about 11pm in Langtree Mall on Thursday, August 6.
Police will allege the man, driving a Ford Ranger Utility, was involved in a collision with two 12-year-old boys who were riding a motorised bike in the mall.
Both boys remain in hospital with serious injuries.
