CROYDON, VIC. — Firefighters yesterday attended a house fire on Dorset Road after FRV crews were alerted to the incident shortly before 3pm after multiple Triple Zero (000) calls.

Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find the back of the single-storey house fully involved in fire as firefighters donned breathing apparatus (BA) to check for occupants remaining in the home.

Firefighters from FRV and CFA worked together to tackle the blaze. The fire was deemed under control by about 4.15pm.

Luckily, no one was at home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the incident is unknown.

Police and paramedics also attended.
