Niddrie factory fire

At 2.05am this morning, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Keilor Road, Niddrie, after callers to triple-zero reported a factory fire.

At 2.05am this morning, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Keilor Road, Niddrie, after callers to triple-zero reported a factory fire.

Firefighters arrived on the scene within six minutes to find a brick building fully involved in fire.

Crews donned breathing apparatus (BA) and attacked the fire both externally and internally.

The scene was deemed under control at 2.47am.

Once the fire was extinguished, the scene was handed to Victoria Police.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and will be investigated by the Arson Squad.
