DONCASTER EAST, VIC. — A pedestrian died in hospital following a collision in Doncaster East on Monday, October 27. 

Officers have been told an 83-year-old Doncaster East man was crossing Reynolds Road when he was struck by a car about 1.10pm

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.

The driver of the car, a 65-year-old Doncaster East woman, remained at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
