ST ALBANS, VIC. — Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives are investigating after three males were seriously injured in an altercation in St Albans at about 1.20pm on Sunday.
Investigators understand that two males, a 17-year-old and a 23-year-old, met a 17-year-old boy at Highcombe Crescent Reserve as part of a marketplace exchange.
A physical altercation between the trio occurred, leaving all three with stab wounds.
The 17-year-old and 23-year-old fled in a vehicle before they called Triple Zero (000), and police located them nearby on Ruth Street.
They were both taken to hospital with serious injuries, where they remain in a stable condition.
The other 17-year-old contacted Triple Zero (000) before police located him at the reserve with serious injuries.
He remains in hospital and is expected to be charged on summons.
Police are not looking for anyone else.
An investigation is ongoing.
