RICHMOND, VIC. — At 3.24pm yesterday, Fire Rescue Victoria responded to a building fire in Richmond.
Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find smoke issuing from an apartment on the eighteenth floor of a housing complex.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and conducted a primary search of the premises, finding no occupants. No injuries were reported.
The fire was declared under control at 4pm.
Crews contained the fire to a single room in the apartment.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and will be investigated.
