Homicide Squad detectives have charged a second man following a fatal shooting in Ivanhoe last week.
The 25-year-old was charged yesterday afternoon with assisting an offender in committing murder.
The Narre Warren man appeared before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, where he was remanded to reappear on January 12, 2026.
The charges follow the discovery of a 27-year-old man’s body in the front yard of a Linden Avenue home about 6pm on Tuesday, September 2.
Investigators previously charged a 26-year-old Cranbourne man with one count of murder.
