Tobacco wars hit Reservoir

RESERVOIR, VIC. — Detectives are investigating a ram raid and arson on a convenience store on Broadway, Reservoir, on January 22.

RESERVOIR, VIC. — Detectives are investigating a ram raid and arson on a convenience store on Broadway, Reservoir, on January 22. 

Emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle ramming the Broadway Convenience Store and a consequent fire on Broadway about 3.15am.

Police believe the offenders used the vehicle to gain access to the shop and setting the shop on fire.

The alleged offenders then dumped the vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived.

A man residing at the rear of the shop at the time of the incident was not physically injured and was assessed at the scene by Ambulance Victoria.
