Homicide Squad detectives today charged a 53-year-old Springvale man following the death of a 47-year-old Montmorency man last month.
The Springvale man has been charged with murder following the discovery of the man’s body on Friday, June 29.
The man will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in an out-of-sessions hearing tonight (July 11).
The 47-year-old’s body was found by his estranged wife at his Wilson Avenue home just after 4pm.
The former prison guard had reportedly been stabbed.
