George Le Couteur was fabulous in this role. Even before the official show began, the audience was entertained as he interacted in silence.
Clown remained a constant character throughout, assisting with the props/equipment, providing much visual humour. With the traditional large clown feet, plus a red nose, he was recognisable immediately.
