SOUTH MELBOURNE, VIC. — With the world gone to hell in a handbasket, more and more readers are turning to cosy crime – sex and violence happen offstage, the main investigator is usually an amateur sleuth, and the story is set in a close-knit, small community.

Spearheading the investigations are often librarians, retirees, chefs, or neighbours, rather than professional police officers. Not too much gore!! Luckily, Australian authors are on the mark.

Penny Tangey, Kate Solly, and A.M. Stuart will be exploring the joys (and challenges) of cosy crime with Alison Goodman, the multi-award-winning novelist and New York Times best-seller.
