Police are investigating an incident where a male was assaulted on Bourke Street, Melbourne on Sunday, February 9.
Investigators have been told the victim was walking along Bourke Street when an unknown man commented to him concerning the Middle East conflict.
The pair had a brief verbal altercation before the victim turned to walk away.

He was then followed by the unknown man into a shop who assaulted him before leaving the scene.
