Around 1.10am the Holden was again sighted in Burvillies Road, Armstrong Creek.

Police kept covert observations on the car until it turned into Compass Way and rammed a stationary police car.

Fortunately, the officers were not seriously injured. The Holden drove off through a nearby paddock.

A pursuit was called due to the dangerous driving of the Holden driver and the car was followed to Geelong West, Corio and Geelong until police were able to deploy vehicle immobilisation devices successfully.

The Holden travelled to Waurn Ponds and stopped near Anglesea Road, where police were able to arrest the driver.

He is currently being interviewed by police.
