VICTORIA. — A constable from Eastern Region – that Victoria Police refuses to name – has been charged following an internal investigation.

The 19-year-old male Victoria Police constable has been charged with three counts of ‘sexual penetration of a child under 16’, which is legal jargon for ‘allegedly raped.’

The incident is alleged to have occurred in November 2025 while he was off duty.

Another incident is alleged to have occurred in June 2025, prior to him joining Victoria Police.

The unnamed constable, who Victoria Police refuse to name, has been charged and bailed to appear before an undisclosed Magistrates’ Court at a date Victoria Police refuses to name, unlike any other crime report published by Victoria Police media.
