Police are investigating after a person was located deceased in an overturned car in Buffalo River Saturday morning.
The car was sighted by a passerby in waters off Buffalo River Road, south of Myrtleford, about 9am.
Search and Rescue Squad officers deployed to the scene and conducted a search of the vehicle.

One person, who is yet to be formally identified, was located deceased inside the vehicle.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
