MERNDA, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives have arrested four males following the death of a man last night.
Emergency services were called to Bridge Inn Road about 5.50pm on March 6 after reports of a group of people fighting.
A 22-year-old Mernda man was located at the scene with life-threatening injuries and was treated by ambulance crews, but died at the scene.

Police arrested four people, a 16-year-old, an 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds in relation to the incident, and they all remain in custody.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
