TRUGANINA, VIC. — Illicit Firearms Squad detectives have charged a man and seized a sawn-off shotgun, an imitation handgun and drugs of dependence after a warrant was executed at a Truganina address yesterday.
A 45-year-old Truganina man was charged with possessing a firearm contrary to the Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO), (being a) prohibited person possessing a firearm, possessing an imitation firearm, trafficking a drug of dependence and possessing drug of dependence.
He was remanded last night to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court today

A sawn-off 44 Ruger shotgun, an imitation handgun and what appears to be dried cannabis and methylamphetamine were seized from his address.
