Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing in Prahran early this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports that a man had been stabbed during an altercation on Chapel Street on Sunday, April 20, about 1.30am.
The victim, who is yet to be formally identified, was taken to hospital where he later died.

At this stage, no arrests have been made. An investigation is underway.
Chapel Street remains closed between High Street and Greville Street.
