YARRAVILLE, VIC. — More than 25 firefighters responded to a significant unit fire on Norfolk Street, Yarraville at 10.08pm yesterday.
Upon arrival, crews found the property fully ablaze and quickly escalated the response.
Crews had difficulty gaining access to the property initially, due to the stairwell being boarded up.
Firefighters used a ladder to scale the balcony to gain access to the property and conduct a search.
No occupants were located.
Crews worked swiftly to contain the fire within 30 minutes.
