Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to several triple-0 calls of a house fire at Thorpe Avenue, Hoppers Crossing last night.
Crews arrived on the scene within 7 minutes to find smoke and flames emanating from the second storey and roof of the weatherboard house. The response was escalated.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the fire whislt preventing the fire spreading to adjoining properties.
All occupants and pets were evacuated safely. The occupants were assessed by Ambulance Victoria.
The fire was deemed under control by 11:33pm.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and will be investigated.
