Missing Persons Squad detectives have located human remains and arrested a 27-year-old Westmeadows man as part of an investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Sunbury man Joshua Bishop.
The remains were discovered following the execution of a warrant at a home in Erinbank Crescent in Westmeadows today.
A crime scene has been established as officers from the Major Crime Scene Unit attend to process the scene.
The remains are yet to be formally identified.
The investigation is being led by detectives from the Missing Persons Squad and is ongoing.
