BROADMEADOWS, VIC. — Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man following a non-fatal shooting in Broadmeadows on Wednesday afternoon.
With assistance from the Special Operations Group, a 22-year-old man was arrested on Central Grove in Broadmeadows around 1.15pm this afternoon.
The Dallas man was interviewed by detectives and charged with intentionally causing injury, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, common law assault, possessing an unregistered handgun, using a firearm in a public place, possessing cannabis and prescription medication without a prescription, handling stolen goods and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tonight.
