Westgate Highway Patrol are investigating after a man died following a two-vehicle collision in Spotswood earlier this month.
It is believed a motorbike rider was travelling along the Westgate Freeway when they collided with another rider about 12:15pm on Wednesday, March 5.
The first rider, a 48-year-old Vietnamese national, sustained critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he later died.

The second rider, a 65-year-old Sunshine West man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
