TRUGANINA, VIC. — Fire Rescue Victoria responded to a house fire in Truganina shortly before 5am today.
Firefighters arrived to find a double-storey brick townhouse fully alight.
Firefighters fought the fire in an external attack due to the intensity of the blaze and concerns over the structural integrity of the building.
A search of the home found no one inside.
The fire was declared under control at 5.29am. The home sustained significant damage.
The fire has been deemed suspicious and will be investigated by Victoria Police.
CFA firefighters assisted with firefighting operations.
