A 34-year-old Healesville man was intercepted by Nunawading Highway Patrol while travelling on the Eastern Freeway in Kew about 9.20am today.
He was travelling at 158km/h and tested positive for methamphetamine. He was issued an infringement notice for speeding, received eight demerit points and had his licence suspended for 12 months.
He is expected to be charged with drug driving.
