Middle Creek Road Bridge One in Yarck is now open for traffic after repairs were completed on Thursday, August 3, Murrindindi Council announced.

Repair works included strengthening foundations and resurfacing a small section of the road.

During the final inspection, engineers found an additional fault that required urgent attention, which caused a minor setback in the project timeline.

The asphalt delivery was also delayed due to logistical issues, but the contractor overcame these challenges and completed the work as soon as possible.

“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the Yarck community during this period of inconvenience.

“We hope that the repaired bridge will serve you well and improve your travel experience,” Murrindindi Shire said in a press release.
