VICTORIA. — A 57-year-old leading senior constable from the eastern region has been charged following an internal investigation.
The unnamed and allegedly corrupt Victoria Police officer has been charged with possessing a traffickable quantity of firearms, four counts of possessing unregistered firearms and having firearms not stored correctly.
The incident allegedly occurred in November 2025 while the police officer was off duty.
The officer was charged on summons to appear before an undisclosed Magistrates’ Court at an undisclosed date.
