MELBOURNE, VIC. — A 41-year-old on-duty male Sergeant from the North West Metro region has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, reckless assault causing injury, common law assault and two counts of unlawful assault in October 2025 following an internal investigation.
The unnamed officer was charged on summons to appear before an undisclosed Magistrates’ Court on an undisclosed date.
Victoria Police did not respond to a request for comment.
