MOORABBIN, VIC. — Alison Knight’s plays have been performed (or are to be performed) as part of the Legends of the Skies series at the National Aviation Museum, Moorabbin, from 2014 to today. They all deal with some aspect of Australian aviation history.

The performance tracks Chubbie Miller’s roller-coaster life, her 1927 flight from England to Australia with RAF (UK) pilot Bill Lancaster in the Avro Avian (Red Rose), and subsequent dramatic twists.

This show continues the LOTS Theatre tradition of paying tribute to great Australian aviators, but this time introduces the women of aviation.
