Murrindindi Shire and Agriculture Victoria are hosting a free workshop for all farmers on Thursday, July 27 in Molesworth, talking about how you can look after your animals and yourself.

This is an opportunity for farmers across Murrindindi Shire, whether experienced or new to the industry, to hear from our two guest speakers about animal health issues that the district may be facing, and about mental health information and support available.

Delatite Vet Services principal vet Anna Manning will discuss current animal health issues and how to respond. Knowing how to deal with liver fluke, worms, lice and clostridial diseases can be important for this time of year.

Dr Rob Gordon is an expert in supporting people impacted by floods and other natural disasters. He will discuss methods and strategies to help manage yourself in prolonged disasters and managing continuing stressful situations.
