Armed robbery at Wallan service station

Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery at Wallan’s United service station on Tuesday, July 17.

A man, allegedly armed with a knife, entered the High Street premises shortly before 4.50am.

The man threatened and made demands to the employee before fleeing with an amount of cash in a black Mercedes Benz.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Investigators have released a number of CCTV images of the vehicle and a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
