A 39-year-old Caroline Springs truck driver has died after his truck hit a cow before veering off the road and hitting a tree on Hendy Main Road, Moriac about 6.15am.
Emergency crews tried to save him, but sadly the Caroline Springs man died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
