David Chapman has – unsurprisingly – today published on social media and told Melbournes 3AW the account of his stepdaughter, Skye Wilson, eating into a strawberry over the weekend only to reportedly discover a fine needle hidden within. [Pictured above. IMAGE: Courtesy 3AW]
The incident was first publicly revealed on 3AW’s Rumour File this morning and confirmed later by Tony Jones on 3AW Mornings.
“It looks like she’s still got something else stuck in her throat — it’s not metal, but it looks like they’ve put something else foreign in there,” Chapman told Tony Jones.
“She’s [Chapman’s stepdaughter] in a lot of pain and discomfort and [I’m] just keeping an eye on her arm,” Chapman said.
A similar incident late last year sent shoppers into panic mode as many stores turned away deliveries of strawberries. A Queensland woman was charged with those incidents last November.
Coles and Victoria Police have been contacted for comment.
