VICTORIA, TASMANIA, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, NEW SOUTH WALES & AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY.
Yes, folks, it’s that time of year again to ‘change the clocks and change your smoke detector batteries too.’
At 2am (0200hrs) tomorrow (Sunday, October 5), it’s time to move clocks forward an hour to 3am (0300hrs) as daylight saving commences for another year.
Daylight saving is not observed in Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Christmas Island or the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
Lord Howe Island is an exception, whereby clocks are put forward by only 30 minutes.
