HARCOURT, VIC. — When the small town of Harcourt was devastated by fire last month, the community banded together to get through the tragedy.

In the wake of the fire, the community has shown resilience and connection. In the weeks following the fire, Harcourt Fire Brigade received several new enquiries about volunteering.

Resident Michael Pilcher is one of the many Victorians who expressed interest in volunteering with CFA since January 1.

He said seeing how CFA supported the town made him want to help out further in future.
