The Foggy Mountain Bluegrass Festival returns to Kinglake from Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15.
The festival commences at 6:30pm on Friday, October 13 with a bush dance and spit roast in the Kinglake RAC building, followed by a cabaret concert in Lawson’s Restaurant (Kinglake Pub).
The festival continues on Saturday with events from 9:30am until 10pm, including the beard competition in the main marquee at 7pm.
The Gospel concert is first on Sunday morning at 10am and is followed by local school performances. The festival concludes with a ‘newgrass’ concert from 1:30 to 4pm in the main marquee.
Artists performing this year include Nine Mile Creek, Slim Dime, Savannah Rose, Great Aunt, Coolgrass, Backwater, Davidson Brothers, The Burning Bridges, The Knott Family Band, Clandestiny, The Kissin’ Cousins, Appalachian Heaven String Band and more.
