MAFFRA, VIC. — Police detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man following reports that two men were found with serious injuries on Landy Street, Maffra, at about 10pm on Sunday.
When police arrived, they found a man deceased and a 46-year-old man with serious injuries.
The 46-year-old Maffra man was taken to hospital under police guard.

At present, investigators believe the parties are known to each other.
Homicide Squad detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
