Wangaratta Highway Patrol police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal single-vehicle crash at Nathalia around 6:35 pm last night.
A Nissan Pulsar travelling north on the Murray Valley Highway veered off the road before hitting a tree.
A 63-year-old Nathalia man was located deceased at the scene.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
