Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 62-year-old man John.

John was last seen at a relative’s home on Wolseley Parade, Kensington about 3.30pm yesterday.

John was last seen wearing a black beanie, a black jacket with a hood and a Victoria Government logo, dark blue navy pants, light blue runners and carrying a horse feed bag to collect aluminium cans.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 178 centimetres, slim build and grey hair.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare, due to his medical conditions. His disappearance is out of character.

He may be in the Kensington or Essendon areas and is known to frequent public transport.
