HEATHCOTE, VIC. — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Heathcote where two people died last night.
Emergency services were called to reports that a car and a truck had collided on the McIvor Highway about 9.45pm.
The two occupants of the car died at the scene.

The male driver of the truck was not injured and stopped at the scene.
Police are appealing for dashcam footage from anyone who may have been driving in the area just before the collision.
The Intersection of Northern Highway and McIver Highway remains closed, while detours are in place along the highway from Knowsley.
