CANADIAN, VIC. — Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal hit-run in Canadian early this morning.
Investigators believe a green Ford Fiesta struck the victim on Butt Street just after midnight.
CPR was administered on the man who sadly died at the scene.

The Ford, which was not displaying registration plates, was located nearby on Elsworth Street.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway.
Detectives are appealing for anyone in the area to check their CCTV and dashcam.
