Man missing in Marysville

Marysville police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 21-year-old Werribee man Poshik Sharma last seen in Marysville on Thursday 11 July.

Poshik was with a group of friends however he separated from the group at the Duck Inn about 3.50pm and has not been seen since.

It is understood he had a disagreement with friends which is when he separated from the group.

Temperatures in Marysville were as low as 3 degrees Celsius overnight. The closest weather stations report 6°C at Buxton and 0°C at Lake Mountain at 12.45 pm today.

Officers from Search and Rescue, Police Airwing, the Mounted Branch and the local station are scouring the area for Mr Sharma.

Marysville police along with members from the Search and Rescue, Police Airwing and SES are searching for the missing man in the local area.

Police have released an image (above) in the hope someone may recognise him and contact police.

He was last seen wearing the clothes depicted in the picture.
