DEER PARK, VIC. — Brimbank Divisional Response Unit yesterday charged a 15-year-old girl after a teenager was stabbed during an affray involving a group of youths at Robert Bruce Reserve on Gould Street, Deer Park, at about 7.15pm on Wednesday, September 18.

Officers were first called to the scene following reports of a brawl and possible stabbing.

Police arrested a teenager in the Melton area yesterday morning and charged her with affray.

She has been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

Further arrests are expected.

An investigation remains ongoing.
