Prahran Highway Patrol arrested and charged an 18-year-old Altona man following an incident in Carnegie on Saturday.

Police have been told the driver of a silver Ford sedan performed burnouts and donuts on Koornang Road, Carnegie about 1pm on Saturday, July 29.

The vehicle was seen to continue to drive erratically and left the area.

Prahran Highway Patrol members made a number of enquiries. Police arrested an 18-year-old man from Altona North this afternoon.

He was interviewed and charged with reckless conduct endangering life and other traffic offences.

He has been bailed to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on November 8.
